I'm interested in a design, now what do I do?
Take a gander over at my [Design Process] page, and if that information isn't what you're looking for, please feel free to email me. If you know exactly what you are looking for and you've decided on a package, you can head on over to fill out and submit the [Design Request Form]! If you are having trouble on choosing a design kit; that's okay as we can discuss that information before I get started and I can help you decide as well if you'd like!
What type of designs do you do?
I am currently working on designs for Blogger; however I do on occasion design themes for Wordpress (self-hosted) sites. Please note: The Wordpress prices are approximately $15 more, per package than the Blogger rate, however I am willing to work with you on the price. We can discuss that, should the need arise.
How do I pick a designer?
My best advice to you regarding this question is just to explore your options and the variety of styles that are available for you. Go on over to my [Approved Designers] page and just take a peak through the designers designs; and kind of get a feel for the type of design you're interested in. Once you have a general idea; we can narrow it down!
Can you change the pictures out in my header?
I would be glad to change out the pictures in your header, however this would include me to redesign your entire header; which likely wouldn't look 100% the same as your initial header. However, I do offer for an addition $10 for me to keep a copy of your files on my PC, in the event you have an idea you may want to exchange the pictures.
How long does the process take?
Once I have received your deposit of $25 and your [Design Request Form], along with all details including the specific design kit or image that you plan to use, I will get started. From start to finish, for a blog design; it will take approximately 7-10 business days. However, if you are requesting something small such as a signature and/or button, or something to that nature, you can expect to have the completed item within a 1-2 business days.
What images can I use in my design?
You are welcome to use any image, as long as it is compliant with the particular owners rules. Should you have a design kit that you have purchased, and want to use; you would need to either a) have the designer send an email stating that it is okay for me to use the designs you purchased for your theme design, or b) be willing to pay for the kit again for your blog design. Also, you are welcome to use any images from iStock, however you are responsible for purchasing these items. You can either send me a link to the image you want, and just include the payment for the image in your deposit of your design or final payment, or you can purchase the image and email it to me; as long as it is purchased.
How do I install my design, or do you do that for me?
I will do that for you once the final payment has been received. In order to do that, I will need your blogger log in information; however if you would prefer to install it yourself that is fine. If this is what you choose to do; once I receive full payment, you will receive all the information including instructions of how to install the design. I am willing to do it for you though; as this is included in your design package.
I don't have a blog, but I would like help signing up for one. Do you do that?
Yes, I would be glad to help you with that! The price for that is $15, and if this is something you choose to do, please email me and I will discuss further details with you. Start thinking about your blog title and what you want your web address to be. You can either have "yournamehere.blogspot.com" or "www.yournamehere.com" - the yournamehere.com without the blogspot.com in the address, costs $10 in addition to my fee of $15. It is completely up to you if that is something you want, and you can always do it later too.
